Before You Start

Have I received the DX Winner 2 or the DX2 Ultra?

The DX2 Ultra was previously known as the DX Winner 2. Some packaging, files, firmware references or older community material may still use the DX Winner 2 name. This is normal and does not mean you have received the wrong product.

For clarity:

  • DX Winner 2 = DX2 Ultra
  • The newer name is DX2 Ultra
  • Older instructions, Discord posts, videos and files may still say DX Winner 2

If you are unsure, please send us a photo of the label/packaging and we’ll confirm it for you.

Where are the fitting instructions?

You can find the latest DX2 Ultra fitting instructions on our support page under:

DX2 Ultra User Guide

We recommend reading the full guide before starting, especially the sections on:

  • Mounting the platform to your rig
  • Seat rail/profile alignment
  • USB and power connection order
  • SimHub setup
  • Motion profile configuration

The DX2 Ultra is compatible with many rigs, but sim rigs vary a lot, so some setups may require careful positioning or additional fixings.

Which fixings, bolts and T-nuts do I need?
My seat rails don’t line up with the platform. What should I do?

Seat rail spacing varies between seats and rigs, so some seats will not bolt directly to the DX2 Ultra without adjustment.

Common solutions include:

  • Using the supplied aluminium profile bars as an adapter between the DX2 Ultra and your seat rails
  • Mounting seat rails to profile first, then mounting the profile to the DX2 Ultra
  • Checking that the seat can move freely without hitting the rig, shifter, handbrake, wheelbase or side profiles
  • Using low-profile bolts where space under the seat is tight

Before fully tightening everything, do a dry-fit and check:

  • The seat is centred
  • All bolts can be accessed
  • There is clearance for full motion
  • Cables are clear of moving parts
  • Nothing touches the rig during pitch/roll movement

If in doubt, send us photos before final tightening.
