Experience consistent 27Nm force feedback with no loss of detail, even under the most demanding conditions. Every movement is translated instantly thanks to ultra-fast response, giving you sharper control and greater confidence on track.
Invicta Quick Release Adapter Kit
Opening up the Ecosystem
The Invicta Quick Release Adapter makes it possible to mount any steering wheel with a standard hole pattern on your Asetek Racing Wheelbase.
Asetek has partnered with some of the best wheel manufacturers in sim racing so you can buy one of their wheels with our quick release fitted right from their factory! This option allows you to have the smoothest and most flexible experience straight out of the box when switching between your favourite wheels – be they powered or non-powered wheels.
An uncompromising 27Nm direct drive wheelbase for drivers who want to feel more, react sooner and extract every possible detail from the car. The Asetek Invicta is our Elite choice for serious racing, where precision, feedback and consistency matter more than compromise
Who Best For
- Real-world racing drivers using simulation for serious skills development and additional seat time
- Kart drivers progressing into car racing or developing greater sensitivity to vehicle behaviour
- Experienced sim racers competing in high-level online leagues and endurance events
- Drivers looking to identify subtle changes in grip, tyre loading and vehicle balance
- Racers who regularly switch between GT, Formula, prototype, rally or other demanding disciplines
- Sim racers who want an Elite-level wheelbase with substantial force-feedback headroom
- Enthusiasts building a highly immersive, no-compromise racing simulator
- Drivers prepared to invest in a rigid, high-quality sim rig capable of handling a powerful 27Nm direct drive wheelbase
Why We Recommend
Feel the Detail Before It Becomes a Problem
For us, the biggest reason to choose the Invicta is not simply its headline 27Nm of torque. It is the combination of power, speed and extremely high steering resolution.
The 22-bit absolute encoder provides more than four million steps per wheel revolution, while the wheelbase has a peak slew rate of 9.4 Nm/ms. In practical terms, the Invicta is designed to reproduce rapid changes in force feedback with exceptional precision.
That matters when you are trying to feel a car beginning to rotate, a front tyre starting to wash wide or the rear becoming unsettled. The earlier and more clearly those changes are communicated through the steering, the better opportunity the driver has to respond.
27Nm Gives You Headroom, Not Just Heavier Steering
We do not recommend running a wheelbase at maximum strength simply because the power is available.
The advantage of the Invicta's 27Nm capability is force-feedback headroom. Strong steering loads and sudden force peaks can be reproduced while retaining the smaller details that help communicate road texture, kerbs and changes in vehicle behaviour.
This is particularly valuable in cars and simulations where steering forces can vary significantly during a lap. The wheelbase has the capacity to reproduce a wider range of forces rather than forcing everything into a smaller operating window.
RaceHub also allows the overall force and force-feedback behaviour to be adjusted, meaning the Invicta can be tuned around the car, simulator and driver's preferences.
Built for Drivers Who Analyse Their Driving
The Invicta makes most sense to us when simulation is being used as more than entertainment.
A real-world driver can use detailed steering feedback to work on recognising understeer, managing vehicle rotation and understanding how different lines or inputs alter the balance of the car.
For competitive sim racers, the same feedback can help when analysing why a particular corner is inconsistent or where the driver is repeatedly asking too much from the front or rear tyres.
The wheelbase will not magically make someone faster. What it can provide is a clearer stream of information for a driver who is prepared to feel, analyse and adapt.
Tune the Feedback to the Car and Discipline
Asetek's RaceHub software provides control over the wheelbase's force-feedback behaviour and allows preferred settings to be configured.
We particularly like this for drivers who race different types of cars. A lightweight Formula car, GT car, rally car or historic racing car should not necessarily produce the same steering experience.
The ability to adjust overall force and force-feedback characteristics allows the simulator to be configured around the discipline and the information the driver wants to prioritise.
Asetek also publishes specific wheelbase guidance for major racing titles and disciplines, helping provide a sensible starting point before the driver begins personal fine-tuning.
A Genuine Elite-Level Wheelbase
We classify the Invicta as Elite because this is a wheelbase designed for drivers who are actively searching for small gains and greater realism.
Its 27Nm direct drive motor, 9.4 Nm/ms peak slew rate and high-resolution encoder create a platform capable of delivering extremely detailed and responsive force feedback.
For casual occasional racing, this level of hardware may be unnecessary. For the driver building a serious simulator for competition, training or maximum immersion, the Invicta is exactly the type of uncompromising hardware we believe belongs in an Elite setup.
It Helps Improve
- Earlier grip-loss recognition – Helps the driver become more sensitive to changes in steering load as the front or rear tyres approach the limit of grip.
- Understeer awareness – Detailed steering feedback can help drivers recognise when the front tyres are becoming overloaded and beginning to lose effectiveness.
- Oversteer correction – Rapid changes in steering force can provide valuable feedback as the rear of the car begins to rotate, helping develop faster and more measured corrective inputs.
- Steering precision – Encourages smoother, more deliberate steering inputs rather than unnecessary corrections that can unsettle the car.
- Vehicle balance awareness – Helps drivers build a better understanding of how braking, acceleration and steering inputs influence the balance of the car.
- Corner-entry consistency – Greater sensitivity to steering load can help drivers repeat turn-in points and steering inputs more consistently from lap to lap.
- Driving at the limit – Helps develop the ability to recognise and work closer to the available grip rather than relying purely on visual cues.
- Kerb and track-surface awareness – Detailed force feedback can help the driver better recognise surface changes, kerbs and other physical track features through the steering.
Car-to-car adaptation – Adjustable force-feedback characteristics can help drivers learn the different steering behaviours of Formula, GT, prototype, rally and other racing cars.
- Kart-to-car progression – For kart drivers moving towards car racing, detailed steering feedback can support the development of greater sensitivity to weight transfer and changing vehicle balance.
- Race consistency – More precise feedback can help competitive sim racers recognise developing mistakes and make smaller corrections before significant lap time is lost.
- Long-stint concentration – For league and endurance racers, a carefully tuned force-feedback setup can provide a consistent reference for vehicle behaviour throughout longer sessions.
- Setup evaluation – Experienced drivers may find it easier to identify changes in steering behaviour following adjustments to the car's setup and compare how the vehicle responds.
- Race confidence – Clearer feedback can help drivers build confidence in what the car is doing, particularly when driving close to the limit.
- Immersion and realism – For enthusiasts racing purely for enjoyment, the speed, strength and detail of the force feedback can create a significantly more physical and involving connection with the virtual car.
- Earlier grip-loss recognition – Helps the driver become more sensitive to changes in steering load as the front or rear tyres approach the limit of grip.

This is just a selection of game titles supported by the Invicta Direct Drive Wheelbase 27NM. In theory it is compatible with all games that accept direct input devices. However, beware that some titles may not be supported.
As all wheelbases are designed from the ground up, we have been able to develop an extremely compact and flexible form factor accommodating any rig and need. The wheelbase will serve as the central hub in your simulator, where you can connect your Asetek Racing™ pedals, wheels and future peripherals with up to 5 USB-C ports in the rear.
In its simplest mounting form (default from factory), the bases come with T-nuts pre-installed in bottom grooves, enabling the motor to slide back and forth in your rig without installing long and expensive steering wheel spacers that ultimately can compromise the life and reliability of your wheelbase.
For all wheelbases, we have developed mounting options for any rig, ranging from a bottom mount, side mount, and all the way to our integrated front mounts.
Set Up & Install
